This plane is the workhorse. It has plenty of style to make it stand apart from your everyday utensils, but you will happily use this for regular meal prep. Made by husband and wife team, John and Heather at their studio on the family farm in southwest Ontario. Who knew when John gave Heather a welder for a birthday present that it would evolve into all this. After over 25 years, they are still enjoying the process of bringing a new design to life in steel.
They start with a high quality stainless steel cheese plane blade flexible serrated knife blade, then weld on our cold forged handle with signature hammered leaf. The entire plane is then buffed to a high polish. Measuring approximately 10 3/4" long, this piece is dish-washer safe and ready to use.
